The Spectra SP80 is a very capable 5th generation RTK reciever that will perform will in light tree cover and near small buildings. With a ruggedized exterior, the SP80 is perfect to take on difficult and challenging work sites. The set listed here is in 10/10 condition with no cosmetic scuffs and scratches, in fact it looks near brand new. The units have been tested and are working well. The recievers were only used for occasional static work and were traded in for the Hemisphere S631.

Spectra SP80

The Spectra SP80 is the high-performance GNSS receiver from one of Trimble’s premier brands, Spectra. Spectra has a long history in the surveying industry all the way back into the 1950s. Although they have been recently sold-off from Trimble, the SP-80 comes from the hey-day of this partnership. With a commitment to quality and innovation, you can be assured that the SP80 will meet your needs.

 

The Spectra SP80 is perfect for a variety of applications including; surveying, construction, and agriculture. With the ability to receive GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou, the SP80 contains 5th generation RTK technology allowing it to compete with newer receivers. With the ability to receive signals from all of the major constellations the SP80 allows you to achieve accuracy and repeatability in a variety of environments. With the ruggedized casing and an IP67 environmental rating, the SP80  is dust and water proof. This means you can take into a variety of hostile and challenging work sites.

 

The SP80 can track up to 256 unique satellite signals simaltaneously, allowing for high accuracy precision up to 1 cm horizontally and 2 cm vertically when in RTK mode. This SP80 system can use both cellular and radio corrections to acheive an RTK fix to acheive your accuracy levels. The SP80 is capable of sending text and email messages on status, keeping you on top of what is happening with your receivers. Although beginning to show its age, the SP80 is still capable of getting the job done.

 

Used System Condition

This particular used receiver system is in excellent condition. It saw almost no use since it was purchased and is in excellent shape. These units have GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou enabled with the additional L5 unlock optioned as well. The receivers appear new, with new cosmetic scratches and only very minor scuffs.
